More Wisconsin Family pics...

Since it had been over a year and a half since my last visit home, I needed to be sure to get shots of everyone. So I grabbed my niece Emily and headed down to the ravine in my parent's backyard. I love this location. I just wish there was a little more light. It is covered thickly by trees.

And of course, I've posted the picture of Sam with some of his other senior portraits. Last but not least, is a pic of my brother Mike...who is Emily and Sam's dad :) You can see where the kids get their good looks from, huh? Enjoy!

I love my furry neighbor :)

Showered with Love...

I can't tell you how much this shoot touched my heart. I was honored to photo such a beautiful and loving family. They have been through so much with little Hayden and he is such a little miracle and a little trooper! And me saying they have been through a lot is a total understatement. But they are coping and making their little guy's life the best it can be.

Hayden has multiple chromosome abnormalities. One of them is known as Cri du Chat (cat's cry syndrome) and the other doesn't really have a name, just the chromosome number & letter. His life has been a daily struggle. He is now 3 1/2 years old...yay Hayden! I was so deeply touched by this shoot. The love for this little guy is amazing. I found myself just wanting to hold him and tell him everything was going to be ok.

For those of you with friends who may have a special needs child, please embrace, love, accept and support them! I did a good job of holding my emotions together, but will say when I got home I broke down. I just don't understand why families have to experience this...why children have to suffer so much. But I do believe Hayden was born to the right parents...and that is a miracle as well! Caring for a special needs child is difficult and God picked out two parents that are willing to give him their all, their best, their love, their strength...their everything!

Mr. Hayden...I look forward to many more shoots with you...so hang in there buddy! And Michelle and Brian...you are absolutely beautiful parents!!

My Two Little Shadows...

First off, let me say I HATE having my photo taken...yes it's true. But it has been some time since I've been home and thought it would be a good opportunity to get a few recent pics with the kids. I believe my niece Emily pushed the button on this shot!

Yes...my two little shadows... especially the little blonde, Morgan. She is like a little mini me. If you hold our baby pics next to one another, it is amazing to see the resemblance. She is also artistic and wants to be a photographer when she grows up...LOL. She literally was attached to my hip my entire vacation and I loved it! Brooke is the quiet one of the two...and I think that is a similarity that her and I share. That and our love for comfortable clothes. You will almost always find Brooke wearing a hoodie or sweatshirt of some kind. They are both so beautiful in their own way...Brooke's skin, Morgan's freckles....to die for! Enjoy!

Tyler Time in Wisconsin...

There are so many words to describe my nephew Tyler. Let's see... crazy, funny, smart, imaginative, witty, adorable, sweet, and even a bit pesky at times. I could go on and on. He is a very unique kid who is so tenderhearted yet strong willed at the same time. Each of my nieces and nephews hold such a special place in my heart...each in their own individual way. Tyler is so dear to me. Words really can't explain it. I bawled like a baby when I said good bye to him. He wasn't sure how to react...he too, got choked up and asked me if I wanted some of his chocolate milk to make me feel better. It is the little things like that, that make him such a great little guy. I miss him. And take a look at the last photo. His craziness comes from his dad! Enjoy!

E and E...yes twins!

Meet Evan & Emma...newborn twins. Little Emma was quite the sleeper, but Evan had other things on his mind. Here is a collage from their shoot! Enjoy :)

Mr. Cooper is 3...

I can't believe all my little clients are growing up so fast. I had an absolute blast with Cooper. He has the best imagination. We saw all sorts of elephants, frogs and animals at the Myriad Gardens...it was amazing exploring with him. He literally had me laughing just watching him play. He is such a handsome little fella! Enjoy!

Two handsome brothers...

Oh what sweet little guys they are! We first started at OU for some shots and then went to the studio to get some shots of little brother for his 1 year old session! I think little brother is definitely going to be an athlete...he is one sturdy kiddo:) And the eyes on both are just amazing! Enjoy.

Precious little babydoll...

Look at those wide eyes. Little Avery did stay awake for the majority of the session, however we did get her to snooze just long enough to capture some cute sleepy shots. I just think she has the cutest cheeks and that sweet little mouth...just adorable! Babies amaze me! Enjoy!

Itsy Bitsy Baby Boy...

I have so many favorites from this session. What a sleepy baby little Hudson was, and everyone knows I love sleepy babies! I think one of my very favorite shots is the one of him with the baseball glove and ball...it's as if he is dreaming of the big leagues with that sweet little baby smile on his face. As you can see, I couldn't get enough of this little bundle of sweetness:) Enjoy!

Daddy's Helper...

This little guy loves everything tools, so to surprise dad, mom had me do some shots of him in his work gear. He was such the little ham as you can see. What a cutie! I was told that dad almost had tears in his eyes from the surprise. How sweet is that? Enjoy!

My Nephew Sam, Class of 2010

Congrats to my handsome nephew Sam! I love this kid...well, I love all of my nieces and nephews, but Sam was my first, so he holds a special place in my heart. I just can't believe he is graduating from high school...ugh...nothing like making an aunt feel old! But I am very proud of him and wish him the best in his future! Enjoy!
