This was a really fun shoot! I have been wanting to try the fire thing for awhile and Jake was the perfect kiddo to try it with! Of course, I do not recommend this to anyone unless you have water handy and adult supervision. We also experimented outside first and were very comfortable with the results we got. Aren't Jake's eyes just captivating in the first shot? He is a true baseball lover!
Now look at this little doll of a dog!!! Isn't she just the most precious little thing you have ever seen? Jake just loves this little dog and so does his mommy!!! And Bella gives good kisses too.

Good Ole Charlie...
This engagement session would not have been complete without the couple's cute little pup. As you can see he really looks up to and loves his owners. Charlie was used in the proposal, so his appearance in the engagement photos was a must. I absolutely think that Lori is so gorgeous...well...Jason is pretty good looking too! What a super couple who have a very bright future ahead of them! Enjoy :)
Fun, beautiful family...
and just beautiful lighting at the Myriad Gardens in OKC. I've said it a million times, I love this area and the way the sun hits the trees behind the subjects who happen to be such beautiful and great people. What a young and fun couple who truly adore their little ones to pieces. Can you blame them? How cute are they? Enjoy!!!
Mr. Baseball...
and not even 2 years old yet. Look at that form...are you kidding me? What a little stud he will be:) I adore Owen and his parents. They are such loving people and so much fun to be around. As you can see Owen loves his ball and baseball bat. What a sweetie pie! Enjoy...and look at his stunning eyes.

Wedding fun, emotion, and love
It was hard selecting just 3 faves from this wedding but I am sticking to my posting 3 images per wedding/session until I get caught up:) This first pic tells all...fun, crazy, yet classy and intelligent couple so madly in love with one another. They truly are a match made in heaven. Their day was beautiful. Congrats Adam and Tiffany...it was a pleasure capturing your special day! Enjoy :)
Time sure flies...
and the little ones are growing up too fast :( I can't imagine how a mother feels watching her little one grow up. It seems like just yesterday when I did Brody's first session. I love watching them grow and change but I just can't believe how fast the time flies by. The older I get the faster it goes...no fair! Enjoy this little guy! He's quite the cutie!

Eye surgery went well...
and I am almost back to normal looking :) This latest surgery was nothing compared to the others I have been through with my eyes. For the first 5 minutes of the surgery I was knocked out and then I was awake for the final 40 minutes. When I was told this was how it was going to be by my anesthesiologist I about flipped out. Since I had the very bad experience in December when the gas bubble was put in my eye and I was wide awake, I was a bit freaked at the thought of going thru another surgery awake. However, my anesthesiologist rocked as did my doctor. She gave me just the right amount of "good stuff" and the doctor is one of the nicest and most gentle I have ever seen.
I guess I should let you all know what was done. I had scleral buckle done on my right eye three years ago. The silicon band that was around my eye became exposed and started to erode causing irritation and infection which could lead to a more serious infection and vision loss. So the band needed to be surgically removed. This was my fourth retinal surgery, 3rd one in the last 6 months...two on each eye, and hopefully my last for a long, long time!
My eye didn't swell shut, no bruising....just really red on the lower inside and under my lower lid. 5 stitches were placed in that area and for all I know they could have dissolved already! Anyway...enough about my eyeball....a big hats off to The Dean McGee Eye Institute and Dr. Haivala. I highly recommend Dean McGee to anyone having eye issues! :)

Oh....just a little behind....
as you can see by my posting of a 2009 senior. I'm thinking he is my last to blog on...oh wait...nevermind I have at least one more that came to mind. One day I will catch up! Anyway...I had to share this handsome kid. He really wasn't in to his pics, but did give me some good looks and smiles. He doesn't know quite how photogenic he really is! Enjoy!

Cousins in town....
and cute ones too! Addison's (oldest boy in first pic) cousins came to visit him and his family. The main objective was to get a good shot of the 3 of them together. I chose to show this one because of the little one's big smile! Well, of course, you know me...I had to get some solo shots of the other two. I couldn't resist their cuteness! Enjoy :)
A Real Life Doll...
I kid you not...doesn't she look like a doll? She has the most perfect little face and that smile of hers melts my heart. She was such a great sport while we tried to get as much variety as we could in this shoot. As you can see by the last photo, she eventually let us know she had had enough :) Enjoy!
Family Fun at OU...
This shoot was so fun. Little B had me moving and shaking almost the whole time which was great exercise and he kept me smiling while I was doing it...another plus! This little guy is such a cutie and mom and dad couldn't be more in love with him which makes my smile even bigger. I love witnessing the relationship between parents and child. It is truly an amazing connection! Enjoy :)
